Today in Moscow was held a trilateral meeting of the President of JSC "Russian Railways" Oleg Belozerov, President of JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" Askar Mamin and Head of "Belarusian Railways" Vladimir Morozov, the subject of meeting was the discussion of joint cooperation in the framework of "Joint transport and logistics company" (JSC "JTLС").

The sides discussed the results of JTLC operation in 2015, the intermediate results of operations since the beginning of the current year and the prospects of further development of JTLС.

The heads of the companies have agreed on the key principles of the operational model of "JTLC", including implementation of the work within the boundaries of the Russian railways, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Belarus with its possible extension. The basic route of container service of JSC "JTLC" is Dostyk / Altynkol - Brest in the opposite direction. The additional routes approved by the parties as the project progresses.

The parties agreed on the need for a unified approach to the formation of tariff policy for its subsidiaries and affiliates, as well as for third-party members of the Eurasian transport market. The updated operating model of "JTLC" also allows for the possibility of outsourcing operators of rolling stock and logistics companies in the market conditions in order to optimize the cost of services and improve their quality.

- "JTLC" project is the integration platform for us. Exactly this model gives us the possibility of implementing the initial plans for equal participation in the company. In 2015, traffic volumes of "JTLC" have been increased, and for this year there are even more ambitious plans - the president of JSC "Russian Railways" said.

He informed the participants of meeting that the Russian government has been informed about the ongoing work within the framework of "JTLC". JSC "Russian Railways" company was instructed to further work on the actualization of the project development strategy.

- The new model will promote the development of container traffic, which will give the opportunity to generate additional revenue from transit traffic in the current economic situation, when there is a decline in sales volumes in the region and as a consequence decline in export-import transportations, - said the president of JSC "NC" Kazakhstan Temir Zholy " Askar Mamin.

The head of the "Belarusian Railways" Vladimir Morozov said: "To date, container operations - the only segment, which gives the growth. JTLC project is extremely important for us. It will allow our administrations to increase the volume of transit traffic and attract additional cargo base".

Heads of the railway companies of the three countries also agreed to cooperate in the development of the business plan of JSC "JTLC" for the period up to 2025 and the shareholders' agreement in respect of JTLC.

Today a general meeting of shareholders of JSC "JTLC" has been held, where the new president of the company, was unanimously elected Alexey Grom, who previously held the post of first vice-president of JSC. In addition the new board of directors and the board of the company have been formed.

JSC "United transport-logistics company" was founded on November 13, 2014 by the railway administrations of the member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union - Belorussia, Russia and Kazakhstan, in accordance with the arrangements set out by the Memorandum on the development of transport and logistics system of the Common Economic Space (CES) on May 31, 2012 and the decision of the Supreme Eurasian economic Council of 29 May 2013 on the development of transport and logistics system and the implementation of the transit potential of the involved countries.

The authorized capital of JSC "JTLC" is 39.7 billion rubles. The founders of the company are JSC "Russian Railways" (99.84%), "Belarusian Railways" (0.08%) and JSC "National Company" Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" (0.08%).

Shipments of "JTLC" in 2015 amounted to 48.3 thousand. TEU. The plan for 2016 provides the growth of this index by almost 70% - up to 80 thousand TEU.
