Cognizant Technology Solutions Philippines, Inc. won the Philippines’ coveted International ICT Award for “Best Voice Excellence Company of the Year” in recognition of its leadership and excellence in voice–based IT-Business Process Management (IT-BPM) in the Philippines.

Cognizant was selected for the award based on a number of attributes: the company’s growth; size, quality, and diversity of clientele; depth and breadth of competencies; and commitment and contribution to talent development, social initiatives, good governance, and promotion of the Philippine IT-BPM industry.

The award was presented to Kamal Narang, Country Head, Cognizant Philippines. “This award is a tribute to the confidence our clients continue to place in us, and to the hard work and dedication of our talented employees in the Philippines,” said Narang.

The “Most Popular Team Leader in the IT-BPM Industry” award, introduced this year, was presented to Cognizant’s Alyssa Fae Camungol in recognition of her outstanding leadership and performance. Camungol was one of the two team leaders from Cognizant who were named among the six finalists in the category.

Cognizant was also named a finalist in the “Best Employer of the Year” category for its human resources practices and policies, and in the “Best Company of the Year” category for outstanding voice services.

Instituted in 2007 by the Canadian Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (CanCham) and the Information Technology and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP), the International ICT Awards honor Philippines-based organizations and individuals for their innovation, excellence, and contribution to the growth of the IT-BPM industry in the Philippines.
