OREANDA-NEWS. Analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" and the National Bureau of Credit Histories (NBKI) conducted a joint study on the car loan market.

According to a study, in the January - February of 2016 the number of sold cars on credit was 56 thousand units, which is 2 times more than in the similar period of 2015 (27.9 thousand units).

At the same time, the amount of issued for the first two months of this year of car loans was 34.7 billion rubles, which was 2.1 times more than the sum of loans for the purchase of cars in January - February of 2015 (16.7 billion rubles).

In addition, the share of cars that were sold on credit was 33.2%, by growing twice compared to the same period of the last year (16.0%).

We also note that the largest number of loans, granted in January - February of 2016, was recorded in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Moscow Region and Tatarstan (more than 3.5 thousand in each region).
