OREANDA-NEWS. The annual meeting of the shareholders of joint-stock company Baltic International Bank (‘the Bank’) was held on 30 March 2016. Decisions on the financial statements of the Bank for 2015, reports by the Board and the Council, appointment of an auditor for the 2016 reporting year and setting the auditor's remuneration, changes in the composition of the Bank Council, and on the increase of the share capital of the Bank were adopted, and other issues on the agenda were also considered at the meeting.

The shareholders' meeting decided to increase the share capital of the Bank by EUR 2,000,006.10 by issuing 281,691 new dematerialized ordinary shares. Following the increase of the share capital, the new subscribed share capital of the Bank will amount to EUR 31,496,395.20, consisting of 436,112 registered voting shares.

Dr. Hans Friedrich von Ploetz has been invited to join the existing members of the Bank Council – Val?rijs Beloko?s, Vlada Beloko?a and Andris Ozoli?? – as of 18 April 2016.

Dr. von PLOETZ has worked as member of the International Advisory Council of Robert Bosch Co. (2005 – 2013), Vice-Chairman of the Board of Vitrulan International GmbH (2005 – 2013), member of the Supervisory Board of Robert Bosch Co. (2008 – 2013), and has been performing the duties of the Chairman of the Advisory Investment Board of the Green Gateway Fund since 2011.

Dr. Hans Friedrich von PLOETZ holds no voting shares of Baltic International Bank AS.
