OREANDA-NEWS. March 31, 2016. According to the rating of the most influential Fuel and Energy Complex managers carried out in March by the Agency of Political and Economic Communications (APEC), Nail Maganov, General Director of PJSC TATNEFT, joined the TOP-10.

The prestigious top ten ranking in the category  "very strong influence" included Alexei Miller ("Gazprom"), Vagit Alekperov ("LUKOIL"), Igor Sechin ("Rosneft"), Nail Maganov (TATNEFT), Nikolai Tokarev ("Transneft"), Vladimir Bogdanov ("Surgutneftegaz"), Gennady Timchenko ("NOVATEK"), Alexander Medvedev ("Gazprom"), Sergey Kirienko ("Rosatom") and Alexander Dyukov ("Gazprom Neft").

An expert survey had been carried out to determine the ranking by 25 renowned experts: economists, political scientists, investment and industry analysts and journalists. The assessment had been made for 81 candidates - representatives of the nuclear power, gas, oil, coal, as well as oil/oil products transportation and electricity industries.

The experts were asked the following question: "How would you rate on a scale from 1 to 10 political and lobbying influence in the Russian government, the Russian Presidential Administration, the Federal Assembly, and professional influence in the business community of the following entrepreneurs and top managers of the Fuel and Energy Complex of Russia?"

Initially, the experts had assessed the impact of each of the candidates,  then defined the arithmetic means of the expert evaluations (average scores). The final rating features a consolidated assessment of the impact of 50 major entrepreneurs and top managers of the Fuel and Energy Complex.
