OREANDA-NEWS. May 15, 2016, Ukraine International Airlines extend the Buy on Board program by introducing the concept on non-stop international scheduled flights from the cities of Ukraine.

Economy Class passengers traveling on non-stop international flights from the cities of Ukraine will be provided with an opportunity to create their onboard menu by either Pre-ordering meals at least 72 hours prior to departure or choosing from a wide range of food and beverages offered for an extra fee on board.

“To date, we introduced the Buy on Board meal concept across our short- and medium-haul flight network. The latter allows UIA cutting costs and offering passengers the lowest ticket fares, – noted Evgeniya Satska, UIA Corporate Press Secretary. – Therefore, we provide our clients from the cities of Ukraine with an opportunity to either pre-order their breakfast, lunch and dinner prior to departure or choose their meal from our menu. Please note that the aircraft capacity is limited. Contrary to traditional on-ground cafes, we aspire to offer an extensive range of courses and do not stock the aircraft with a great quantity of similar meals. Passengers who pre-order in-flight meals will definitely get their goodies on board”.

The Buy on Board meal concept is currently introduced on most UIA medium-haul flights. Passengers of long-haul flights as well as Business Class passengers of all scheduled flights are still provided with free onboard meals.
