LUKOIL-Komi Commissioned GCS in Timan-Pechora
OREANDA-NEWS. OOO LUKOIL-Komi (a wholly-owned subsidiary of PJSC LUKOIL) commissioned a gas compressor station (GCS) at the Kharyaginskoye field of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
The new GCS receives the associated petroleum gas (APG) from three major fields of the Timan-Pechora oil and gas province, namely, Kharyaginskoye, Yuzhno-Shapkinskoye and Inzyreyskoye fields. Due to station commissioning, gas from the above fields is transported to the consumers thus ensuring fulfillment of the RF Government Decree aimed at achievement of the 95% APG utilization ratio.
GCS capacity in terms of gas treatment and pumping is 300 million cubic meters per year. The gas compressor station consists of two compressor blocks with a gas turbine drive, a dehydration unit and other supporting equipment to ensure its efficient operation. The facility is characterized by a high degree of automation. It utilizes the domestic equipment that is equal to foreign analogues in terms of its features.
The GCS was constructed as part of the Associated Petroleum Gas Efficient Utilization Program for the LUKOIL Group Organizations.
