OREANDA-NEWS. Analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" conducted a study of the Russian car market, which covered all the federal districts and sold models of new passenger cars in February of 2016. According to the survey, the most popular model in the markets of Central and Ural Federal Districts is a KIA Rio.

In the Central Federal District in the last winter month of the current year, the volume of the market of this model was 2,126 units, which is more by 74% than in February of 2015. In the second place there is the best-selling foreign car in Russia in recent years - Hyundai Solaris, the market volume of which fell by 14% to 2008 units. Third model was LADA Granta will finish with a score of 1076 cars (-39%).

In the Ural Federal District KIA Rio was sold in amount of 413 units, by showing an increase of 36% compared to the previous year. Here, as in the CFD, this model also surpassed Hyundai Solaris (363 units; -26%) and LADA Granta (332 units; -31%).
