OREANDA-NEWS. St. Petersburg Hyundai plant in March of 2016 began the first phase of the test assembly of the new compact crossover Hyundai Creta within the preparation for its launch in the Russian market. As it was noted, the main purpose of the test production period – is to ensure the highest level of quality of the vehicles, which is corresponding to international standards of Hyundai Motor Company. During the test assembly of the new model the employees of the plant monitor closely the processes in all stages of production, as well as they conduct an audit of already assembled vehicles.

Currently, the first test samples of new model, assembled on the conveyor of the Russian plant, are tested thoroughly. Especially, for the effective test phase of the assembly of new vehicles Hyundai Creta the plant formed cross-functional groups that consist of representatives of industrial departments, which are responsible for each of the vehicle systems. The tasks of each specialized working group consist of the identification and correction of possible deviations from established standards, as well as work to improve and optimize the production process.

Mass production of the new compact crossover Hyundai Creta will be launched in the third quarter of 2016. The new car will be equipped with systems of front- and four-wheel drive, as well as with engines of 1.6 and 2 liters.
