OREANDA-NEWS. BAE Systems has named Michael Fleishman General Manager, Americas for their Applied Intelligence division. Fleishman will be responsible for sales, product and service delivery, and company operations, as well as overall profit and loss in Canada, the U.S. and Latin America. He will also foster BAE Systems’ growing channel partner program. 

A 20-year technology sector professional, Fleishman has held executive positions at some of the largest and widely renowned brands in the industry. Prior to joining BAE Systems, Fleishman served as global vice president of security and service management solutions for Unisys. He began his career with IBM, where for more than a decade he performed a number of senior-level sales roles in its business process outsourcing and global financial services divisions. In addition, Fleishman has also headed sales and marketing for engineering company Cyient and application managed services provider Virtusa.

Fleishman’s appointment is the latest step by BAE Systems to further strengthen its global team and ensure it is well positioned to take advantage of growth opportunities. The Company also recently appointed Ross Allen as Vice President of Field Operations for BAE Systems Applied Intelligence, where he will be responsible for the sales and delivery of the defence company’s security solutions worldwide. Both Fleishman and Allen will report into Tim Harvey, President of Commercial Solutions for BAE Systems.

Fleishman has a BS in Aerospace Engineering from Boston University and a MS in Management and Technology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
