OREANDA-NEWS. Russian dealers of Jaguar began sales of business-class sedan Jaguar XF of new generation, the orders receiving for which began the last autumn.

According to the portal Wroom.ru, the new Jaguar XF is built on a common platform with the "younger" model-XE, and the body of the car by about three-quarters made of aluminum, which made the car much lighter than its predecessor. The size of sedan is virtually identical to the first generation model, but the wheelbase has increased by 5 cm, by providing additional space in the rear seats.

The base rear-drive Jaguar XF is equipped with a new 2.0-liter diesel engine with a capacity of 180 liters, the price of the car - is 2.81 million rubles. The sedan with four-cylinder petrol turbo engine 2.0 EcoBoost, 240 hp, will cost 3.028 million rubles. Jaguar XF, equipped with a 3.0-liter petrol "six- cylinder" with the compressor, can only be all-wheel drive, it has two versions of the capacity of 340 and 380 hp, offered at a price of 3.9 million rubles and 4,495,000 rubles, respectively. The main competitors of the new British sedan will be such models as the BMW 5 Series, Audi A6 and the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
