OREANDA-NEWS. March 25, 2016. TRUCONNECT®, Konecranes remote fleet monitoring, has been available for lift trucks during the last few years. Today Konecranes Lift Trucks re-launched the system packed with upgrades that, says Business Development Manager, Bertrand Marion, “Deliver a brand-new world of monitoring services to customers.”

Speaking at the launch, Mr. Marion said, “In highly competitive environments driver responsibility, operational safety and cost efficiency can often only be improved with real-time, and continuous fleet management tools that deliver detailed, trustworthy and granular information.”

TRUCONNECT® for Lift Trucks has been providing Konecranes lift truck owners with information regarding live monitoring tire pressure, abnormal shocks on the machine, amount of hydraulic oil particles and water content, as well as fuel consumption and speed spectrum.

With the major upgrade, Konecranes has made it possible also to monitor the AdBlue levels, optimize the machine’s eco-efficiency, driver’s performance and to see directions of the abnormal shocks. The upgrade also enables personalized alerts that can be sent directly to operators, and optimized graphics, this means that customers can now visualize, and path track, the entire fleet on a bespoke map of their facility. All this available as summarized PDF or Excel reports for fact based decision making.

“Konecranes customers can look forward to swifter, more accurate decision-making when it comes to the maintenance, usage, and operations of their lift trucks. Remote monitoring is a key enabler for a more productive, efficient and safer workplace”, concludes Lars Fredin, Vice-President and Head of Business Unit Lift Trucks.
