OREANDA-NEWS.  Analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" has conducted a study that covered the sales of convertibles and roadsters of all brands, officially presented in Russia in 2015. According to the survey, for the year, this segment decreased by 23% (up to 534 units), while the whole Russian market of new cars fell by 36%.

The leader of sales in the segment of convertibles and roadsters is Mercedes-Benz, which has the share of 35.5% of the total, which is 190 units - less by 20% than in 2014. In the second place with a share of 25% there is Porsche brand that has managed to sell 134 cars with an open top, by showing a 6% increase in the last year. A manufacturer from Germany closes the top-three of leaders - BMW (91 units; -39%), which share was 17%. Apart from these, we can also note the brand smart (67 units), which with a share of 12.5% achieved 1,5 time growth in the segment of convertibles and roadsters.
