Production of trucks increased by 42.7% in February

OREANDA-NEWS. According to Rosstat, the production of trucks in January - February was 14 million units, which is more by 29.4% than a year ago. Last month, the Russian assembly lines produced 11.6 thousand trucks – which is higher by 42.7% than a year before.

It is worth noting that due to the fall in demand for commercial vehicles in Russia KAMAZ in February switched to a four-production mode. Meanwhile, UAZ began the production of the classic commercial vehicles of 2016 model year with new options. And Yelabuga Ford Sollers plant began to equip Ford Transit with device "ERA-GLONASS".

Bus production in Russia for the first two months of 2016 grew by 1.4% to 3.2 thousand units. In February bus plants produced about 2.5 thousand units - more by 6.7% than the year before.
