OREANDA-NEWS. Based on the agreement between Swedbank and Danske Bank, which was now approved by Lithuanian Competition Council, Danske Bank retail banking services will be transferred to Swedbank. Service transfer will be carried out from June 3 to June 6 and will be fully free of charge to the customers. Personal accounts, mortgages and consumer loans, leasing, deposits and securities will be transferred to Swedbank automatically. Customers will only need to address Swedbank for payment cards and access to internet bank.

Customers will not need to terminate current service agreements with Danske Bank, since services will be transferred automatically. All major clauses of agreements will remain the same and there will also be no changes in interest rates of loans and deposits.

Danske Bank payment cards and internet bank will stop working at 5 pm on June 3. On June 6 at 8 am customers will be able to use all transferred services in Swedbank. From this moment they will also be able to see all information about transferred services in Swedbank Internet bank. In order to be able to use payment cards and Internet bank without any interruptions, Danske Bank customers should address Swedbank before termination of Danske Bank services.

Information about the service transfer is already available in websites of both banks. All Danske Bank customers will also receive personal letters and internet bank messages with full information about the migration process and practical guidelines. In case customers need any assistance or have questions, they can address them to both banks by visiting the branches or calling by phone.

Service transfer will affect more than 86 000 private Danske Bank customers in Lithuania. The size of the loan portfolio, subject to this transfer, is approximately 484 MEUR.
