GMC debuts blacked-out Terrain Nightfall Edition ahead of New York Auto Show
Building on either the Terrain SLE-2 or SLT models, the Nightfall Edition package adds a lot of gloss black-painted features including the grille surround, fascias, outside mirrors, luggage rails and license plate trim. The 18-inch machine-faced aluminum wheels also feature gloss black spokes. Four exterior paint choices will be available: summit white, onyx black, graphite gray metallic and crimson red metallic.
A 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine is standard, offering 182-horsepower and capable of achieving up to 32 mpg on the highway, according to EPA estimates for front-wheel-drive models. A more powerful 3.6-liter V-6 with 301 horsepower is optional on the SLT version, hitting an EPA fuel economy rating of 17 mpg city and 24 mpg highway on front-wheel-drive versions.
All Terrain Nightfall Editions get the GMC Intellilink infotainment system, featuring a 7-inch touchscreen as standard, with available 4G LTE data and Wi-Fi hotspot capabilities. Safety features include a standard rearview camera, while forward collision alert, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, rear cross traffic alert and rear park assist are all available as options.
