TDK presents the fully revised Data Book for EPCOS NTC inrush current limiters
OREANDA-NEWS. March 22, 2016. TDK Corporation presents the fully revised Data Book for EPCOS NTC inrush current limiters (ICLs), which covers the extended product range of standard NTC ICLs. Also included in this range is the new P27 series with a lead spacing of 7.5 mm. These components have a disk thickness of 7 mm and are designed for maximum currents of up to 30 A, depending on the type.
NTC ICLs are required whenever devices and systems, at the moment they are switched on, cause very high currents that could result in fuses being tripped or components being destroyed. Examples include power supplies with high capacitance values in DC link, frequency converters and high-power motors.
The new 94-page Data Book not only offers the technical specifications, but also general information and detailed operating instructions, which simplify the selection of the appropriate component.
The Data Book (EPC:62025-7600) can be ordered at www.epcos.com/publications.
Further information on the products can be found under www.epcos.com/ntc_icl.
