OREANDA-NEWS. March 22, 2016. Kaspersky Lab announced today its Global Support Team has been granted an ISO 9001:2015 certification. The company is one of the first to be certified under the new version of the standard, which is the world’s most recognized quality management certification. During the audit, the Kaspersky Lab Global Support Team’s practices, policies, and management systems were found to meet all internationally acknowledged standards.

The ISO 9001:2015 standard is based on a number of quality management principles and provides the framework to achieve, as well as benchmark, consistent performance and service. It covers five main processes including: the management of Kaspersky Lab client incidents, the management of mass critical incidents, the handling of client complaints regarding Kaspersky Lab customer support services, knowledge management, and the internal support of users at Kaspersky Lab.

The accreditation acknowledges that the company has demonstrated its ability to maintain high quality support for its customers. No nonconformities were found during the certification process, which is rare among companies audited for the certificate. The Kaspersky Lab ISO 9001:2015 certification recognizes the company’s global B2B and B2C technical support for its IT security solutions in Europe, Latin America, North America and Russia.

This recognition comes on the heels of several accolades honoring the Kaspersky Lab Support and Services team: 

  • Kaspersky Lab North America Support and Services was named a Bronze Stevie Award winner for Customer Service department of the year in the tenth annual Stevie Awards for Sales and Customer Service. This is the third consecutive year the team has been recognized with this award. 

  • Kaspersky Lab North America Business Products Support Team was recognized as a Certified Support Staff Excellence Center by the Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA), the world's leading organization dedicated to advancing the business of technology services. 

  • Kaspersky Lab North America earned top marks in the Support and Services category of The Channel Company’s esteemed 2015 CRN Annual Report Card.
