The Lincoln Way Arrives in Yunnan with Kunming Lincoln Store
OREANDA-NEWS. March 21, 2016. Lincoln recently announced its entry into Yunnan Province with the Kunming Aojitong Lincoln Store. Kunming is the capital of Yunnan province, China’s most ethnically diverse region, hosting all of the nation’s 56 ethnic groups. Its unique culture and socioeconomic evolution adds new potential to Kunming’s economic development.
“Since our launch in China, the Lincoln brand has been warmly received by Chinese customers, and we are excited to serve Kunming customers with our unique one-size-fits-one approach of The Lincoln Way,” said Robert Parker, president, Lincoln China. “With unparalleled personalized service and a competitive product offering, we aim to serve the new generation of customers who focus on experience and individuality.”
The Lincoln Way, for a New Generation of Customers
Lincoln is evolving and expanding with consumer demands in China – currently on track to open 60 Lincoln Stores in 50 cities in China by the end of 2016 – selling 11,630 vehicles in 2015, its first full year of sales. Underpinning this development is The Lincoln Way, an innovative new model for luxury automotive ownership.
Instead of the detached, sales-centric approach of the past, The Lincoln Way is designed to create lasting relationships through personally crafted experiences that connect with customers.
This new paradigm touches every part of the experience. Each Lincoln dealership leverages warm, elegant designs to create an intimate, relaxing environment. These include teahouses and an industry-first Personalization Studio, where customers can configure their ideal vehicles, preview them in near-life size and share them on social networks.
Individualized service from a Lincoln Team trained at The Lincoln Institute is standard, with specialized roles and skills developed for each part of the service experience. Lincoln customers come first and are given personalized test drive routes and extended service hours on request. Clients are guaranteed full transparency at all times with a live video feed streaming maintenance and repair of their vehicles.
Expanding Product Portfolio Enhances Personalized Experiences
Complementing Lincoln’s comprehensive expansion is an upgraded and competitive product portfolio. The historic luxury brand is on track to fulfill its promise to deliver five models to the China market by the end of 2016, covering around 80 percent of the luxury segment.
“The Lincoln Way is built into every Lincoln vehicle,” said Bao Mengyang, general manager, Kunming Aojitong Lincoln Store. “These products have more offerings at key price points, and are built to provide luxurious personalized experiences that will continue deepening the relationships we have with our customers, long after they leave the Lincoln Store.”
Currently available are the mid-size sedan Lincoln MKZ, the mid-size utility Lincoln MKC, the medium-large utility Lincoln MKX, and the full-size luxury SUV Lincoln Navigator. Another model, the full-size luxury sedan Lincoln Continental, will arrive in China by the end of 2016, bringing the future of Quiet Luxury.
