OREANDA-NEWS. Izhevsk car plant is preparing for the production of estate car LADA Vesta Cross, by making a trial lot of parts for this model.

As the portal "Kolesa.ru" informed, with reference to its sources, in early March, the company had installed the equipment and the necessary equipment for the production of plastic skirts for LADA Vesta Cross. Currently it was made a trial lot of parts, which passes the quality assessment and integration within the project.

It is expected that the production version of LADA Vesta Cross will be presented at the end of August at the motor show in Moscow. The production of estate car can begin on September 25th as previously reported. Most likely, the novelty will go on sale in November.

The motor range of LADA Vesta Cross can share with the sedan, for which it is currently available only AvtoVaz’s 16 valve with a volume of 1.6 liters and output of 106 hp. In the future, the model will be available with a 110-horsepower Nissan unit and 122-horsepower engine with capacity of 1.8 liters. It will be known later which of power trains will be available for cross-wagons.
