OREANDA-NEWS. The Uzbek Company "Uzavtosanoat", which is producing Chevrolet cars and Ravon, will begin the production of a compact sedan Ravon Nexia at the end of the second quarter of this year.

As the portal Wroom.ru informed, now the company is preparing to launch a serial production model, which is a modernized sedan Chevrolet Aveo of the previous generation. Ravon Nexia will be equipped with the same powertrain as the Gentra: 1,5-liter petrol engine with 107 hp paired with a manual gearbox or 6-speed "automatic".

Pre-car price of car in the Russian market was announced at the end of the last year. The base sedan with a single airbag, ABS and audio system will cost from 379 thousand rubles.

The company plans to produce up to 70 thousand "Nexia" annually, but the markets of Uzbekistan, Russia and other CIS countries are unlikely to need so many cars. Therefore, at the present time "Uzavtosanoat" seeks to supply their vehicles to other countries, first of all to the countries of Africa and the Middle East.
