OREANDA-NEWS. The peak of the crisis in the Russian automotive market will be passed this year, Senior Vice President of Renault Jean-Christophe Kugler said about it in an interview with the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT".

According to Mr. Kugler, the market fall in 2016 will be 10 - 12%. And in 2017 it will start gradually the rise. Therewith, in the countries neighboring with Russia - Ukraine and Kazakhstan - it is observed almost the same situation.

By the results of two months of this year Renault car sales in Russia were 13.8 thousand units – less by 23% than in 2015. The most sold model of the French brand is a crossover Duster, which occupies the fourth place in the ranking of models. It has about a half of the total volume, which corresponds to 6.6 thousand units (+ 15.5%).
