Rovi Corporation (NASDAQ: ROVI) today announced that Rovi has entered into an entertainment discovery patent license agreement with KT Corporation (KT), a leading provider of telecommunication services in Korea. This license agreement provides KT with access to Rovi’s market-leading patent portfolio, powering entertainment discovery for KT’s mobile TV subscribers.

KT is one of the major providers of over-the-top (OTT) services in Korea, providing telecommunications and convergence services throughout the region. The company also offers TV everywhere (TVE) and video-on-demand (VOD) over wireless networks and the Internet as part of its digital networking services.
