OREANDA-NEWS. Russian dealers of Lexus in February sold 1451 cars, which is more by 83% compared to the previous year. During the first two months of 2016 sales of the brand grew by 71% to 2536 cars. Thus, Lexus has set a historical record of sales in February and for the first two months of 2016.

As the press-service of the Lexus noted, one of the reasons for the increase was the high interest of buyers to the fourth generation of premium crossover Lexus RX, sales of which began in December of 2015. Since the beginning of 2016 the model became the best-seller of brand, the number of sold RX crossovers has reached a record in February and for the first two months of 2016. Another popular model, which enshrined the Lexus success in the Russian market, was a new flagship SUV LX. LX sales reached the record levels in January and February, and for the first two months of 2016. The urban crossover NX also does not lose its popularity, for which it is fixed the consistently high demand among the young audience.
