OREANDA-NEWS. March 16, 2016. At an extraordinary meeting the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine endorsed the draft law of Ukraine "On the Office of Business Ombudsman".

According to Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade/Trade Representative of Ukraine Natalia Mykolska, the elaborated bill is a crucial step in the framework of deregulation processes and implementation of the cooperation program of Ukraine with the International Monetary Fund.

"To enable Business Ombudsman to effectively exercise his powers it proves necessary to regulate his activity through adoption of law. This act shall clearly define the rights of the Business Ombudsman, to include relations with the authorities", said the Deputy Minister.

The purpose of the bill is to ensure pursuing a policy towards simplifying the business environment and to monitor compliance with legislation, including by regulatory authorities.
