OREANDA-NEWS. March 14, 2016. Russian dealers of KIA launched sales of a new, fourth-generation business sedan KIA Optima. The car enters the market with a choice of three petrol engines, manual or automatic transmission, six equipment levels at the price of 1 069 900 rubles.

As the press-service of KIA Motors Rus informed, the most affordable equipment Classic is the only one, for which it is presumed a manual 6-speed gearbox. In this version, the car has a 2.0-liter petrol engine with a capacity of 150 HP. In the basic configuration the new business sedan KIA Optima is equipped with almost a full set of airbags (front, side and curtain airbags), stability system ESC, an integrated active control system VSM, an emergency braking warning system ESS, an assistant at the beginning of the movement on the rise HAC and LED daytime running lights. There are cruise control, air conditioning, light sensor, electric folding door mirrors, electric windows, heated windshield wipers in parking area, heating and electric adjustment of the exterior mirrors and the multifunction steering wheel. For the convenience fixing of things in the luggage compartment it has a special mounting grid. Spare wheel - is alloy full-size wheel (215/60 R16). This version has the installed instrument panel Supervision with a color 3.5-inch display; it is offered fabric seat upholstery and interior trim "under the metal." It has the 6-speaker audio system with a radio, CD / MP3 player, USB inputs and AUX.

As previously "AUTOSTAT" reported, in Russia by the results of 2015 sedan KIA Optima, despite the overall market decline, showed a positive trend in sales thanks to special offers and a rational pricing policy of KIA Motors Rus. Sales of KIA Optima in Russia increased by 8% the last year and they reached 3096 units.
