OREANDA-NEWS. Aerojet Rocketdyne, a subsidiary of Aerojet Rocketdyne Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:AJRD), announced today that Scott Ward will be joining the company as vice president, Engineering on April 4. Ward is assuming the role following Dr. Marvin Young's retirement from the position after 31 years with the company.

Ward previously was with United Launch Alliance (ULA) and brings more than 27 years of aerospace engineering leadership, program management, product development and supply chain management experience to the position. Ward most recently served as director of the Engines & Motors team for ULA, with responsibility for all liquid propellant rocket engines and solid propellant rocket motors used in ULA's launch vehicles. Prior to ULA, Ward was the director of Delta IV Development at The Boeing Company.
