The report analyzes the market success and capabilities of 18 major ITO service providers in the global healthcare provider sector, with specific focus on their performance relative to large-sized contracts. The resulting PEAK Matrix™ categorizes service providers as Leaders, Major Contenders and Aspirants. In addition, the Matrix identifies Star Performers, which are service providers who show year-over-year positive movement in their Matrix ranking.

Cognizant moved into the Leader category of the 2015 report and Matrix with high performance across the board in delivery capability and market success metrics, including domain investments, delivery footprint, innovation, and buyer satisfaction. The report cites Cognizant’s “marque acquisition of TriZetto” as helping to drive the company into the Leaders category by positioning Cognizant as a “healthcare specialist with an integrated value proposition across the healthcare spectrum.”
