Ministry of Industry has expanded the list of luxury cars

OREANDA-NEWS. Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia has published a list of cars with the average price of 3 million rubles. In accordance with the Tax Code of the Russian Federation, since the January 1, 2014 the calculation of the amount of vehicle tax on vehicles with an average cost of 3 million rubles is made with account of raising factors that are used depending on the year of manufacture of the vehicle.

The average cost is calculated on the basis of the recommended retail prices for cars of this brand, model and year of manufacture of appropriate baselines as of the 1st of July and 1st of December. Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade sends a request to manufacturers or authorized persons of manufacturers for information about every brand, model and base version of the cars, the recommended retail price of which is more than 3 million rubles.

As a result, the updated list includes 708 models, whereas a year ago there were 280. It is worth noting that the number of brands this year increased to 23 - the list was joined by Ford and Volvo with their flagship SUVs.
