"There are already some statistics on the implementation of incentive programs of demand for cars from January 1st to February 14th, 2016. It is preferential car loans - more than 19 thousand vehicles were sold, more than 30 million vehicles were sold under the program of parc renovation, and also a preferential leasing (1745 units) works, but mainly for commercial vehicles, "- said Alexander Naumov, who was cited by the agency" Finmarket ".

He noted that based on the January statistics, "which, in general, is not indicative for the industry", 57% of all cars of the Russian market were sold by these programs to stimulate demand. "That is, the program has already started to work, and the sales are in growth if from week to week we watch the statistics," - he added. Recall, according to the results of January of 2016 sales of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia fell by 29.1% to 81,849 vehicles.

Earlier, Minister of Industry and Trade, Denis Manturov, informed that the measures of state of demand in the Russian market in 2016 will permit to sell 600-625 thousand cars. This year the government will allocate for this purpose 50 billion rubles against 43 billion rubles a year before. In comparison, among 1.6 million new cars that were sold in 2015, with the government programs to stimulate demand it was sold more than 560 thousand cars.
