1. Domestic Production

Mazda's total domestic production volume in January 2016 increased 7.3% compared to January 2015 due to increased production of passenger vehicles.

Mazda3 (Axela):  18,888 units (up 27.9% year-on-year)
Mazda6 (Atenza):  11,169 units (down 9.4% year-on-year)

2. Overseas Production

Mazda's overseas production volume in January 2016 increased 12.1% year-on-year due to increased production of passenger vehicles.

Mazda's total domestic sales volume in January 2016 decreased 8.0% compared to January 2015, due to decreased sales of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 7.2% (down 0.5 points year-on-year), with a 2.6% share of the micro-mini segment (down 0.2 points year-on-year) and a 5.5% total market share (down 0.2 points year-on-year).
