The new edition of the business program for VIII International Forum «ATOMEXPO 2016» has been approved
ROSATOM will be welcoming heads and representatives of both Russian and foreign public authorities, delegates of national and foreign companies, public organizations, as well as the international leaders and the prominent experts within energetics and nuclear industry in Gostiny Dvor, Moscow, from May 30 to June 1, 2016.
The extensive business program will give the participants an opportunity to discuss the current challenges the global energy market faces nowadays, and set guidelines for further development of nuclear industry. The Congress program covers two panel issues "Nuclear energy as the basis of sufficient carbon-free energy supply" and "The future of nuclear energy. New roles".
The first part of the discussion will be devoted to the development of world energy, and the basic role of nuclear power supply being a reliable, financially predictable and clean energy source. Sergey Kirienko will make a presentation here. The second part of the discussion will provide the participants with a chance to discuss cooperation prospects with the representatives of the countries intended to develop nuclear energy, such as Egypt, Saudi Arabia and others. The Senior Director General Deputy – the Head of the Development and International business Department of the State Corporation "Rosatom" Kirill Komarov, as well as the delegates of Egypt, South Africa, Vietnam, Bolivia, Jordan, etc. will make presentations here.
The Forum will also host round-table discussions: "The world on the threshold of nuclear program development: global challenges and Rosatom’s solutions", "Legal aspects of financing nuclear power stations construction", "Life cycle management. From construction of nuclear power stations to managing the corresponding data throughout the life cycle", "Creating nuclear science and technology centers. The projects by ROSATOM on international scientific cooperation by the example of MBIR project", "Optimization of energy supply, ecological and economic aspects. Nuclear and renewable energy", "Innovative products for sustainable development", "Fuel supply and back-end - multipurpose solutions. Competitiveness and environmental effects of nuclear power in the present and future" and others.
Moreover, the business program of the Forum will be complemented by an extensive exposition presenting more than 100 leading Russian and foreign companies, working within the framework of nuclear and related industries.
