Freight One signs five-year contract to ship 35 percent of Rosneft cargoes
OREANDA-NEWS. February 24 Joint Stock Company Freight One (Freight One) signed a five-year service contract with Rosneft, Russia's top oil and gas producer, to carry 83 mln tons of cargoes.
In 2016 under the contract signed Freight One plans to carry more than 16 mln tons of oil, and in the future traffic is to reach at least 15.6 mln tons annually. In addition to transportations, Freight One seeks to help the corporation in dealing with the related operational, technological, informational, and economic issues.
Rosneft, a Russia's strategic enterprise, and Freight One enjoy a long-standing partnership, with Freight One arranging shipments of more than 24 percent of oil cargoes for Rosneft over 2014-2015. Long term contracts will help Freight One cover 35 percent of the total Rosneft cargo traffic.

Earlier in 2012-2015, Freight One signed long term service contracts with major construction and metallurgical companies of Russia, including Eurocement Group, NLMK Group, Severstal, and UC Rusal.
