OREANDA-NEWS. At KAMAZ it was made a work for the transition to the production of cars with engines of "Euro 5": there were certified not only cars of new generation, but also the whole serial motor-vehicle.

The rules of "Euro-4" were introduced in our country in 2010 and since 2016 car plants had to switch to the production of vehicles of the 5th environmental class. Thus, KAMAZ preparing for this transition and proactively conducted the relevant work, informed the press service of KAMAZ.

This year KAMAZ intends to certify the NGV vehicles of "Euro-5" class. The next vehicle is - "heavyweight" KAMAZ-6580. According to the chief technologist of KAMAZ, Ravil Hisamutdinov, it was already prepared the necessary equipment and inventory. "At the end of the last year, at the end of pre-production there were carried out the number of test assemblies for some configurations of KAMAZ-6520 and KAMAZ-53605”, - said Mr. Hisamutdinov. – “However, the start date of the operation of vehicles of "Euro 5" emission class (we are talking about heavy trucks) was transferred on January 1st of 2018. A small respite - is an additional opportunity for us to verify, debug, and come to the appointed date, as they say, fully prepared".
