Ford Argentina is the Automaker with Best Online Reputation According to Mercado Magazine
OREANDA-NEWS. February 26, 2016. Mercado –one of the most important business and economic magazines of Argentina- together with Oh! Panel consultant, published its annual Online Reputation Ranking (RRO), which analyzes brands behavior on Internet. In its 2015’ edition, Ford Argentina obtained the #14 position among the Top 50 main companies, escalating 11 places compared to 2014. In this way, Ford is the automaker with the highest score in Argentina, followed by Fiat (#39) and VW (#41).
The RRO model is based on the perceptions of corporate executives regarding the presence in the virtual world of leading brands and companies operating in the country. 357 executives including CEOs, owners, partners-managers, directors, heads of departments, among others, were interviewed for the ranking. The analysis establishes the performance of each brand considering the number of spontaneous mentions obtained and the rating about three attributes.
• 1.0 Performance: Design evaluation, up to date and availability of information of products / services on the official website of the brand.
• 2.0 Performance: Communications, initiatives and actions taken by the brand in search engines, portals, social networks, blogs, chats and forums.
• Online + Offline synergy: The degree of integration between traditional media communications with Internet stocks.
During the last year, companies have increased their efforts and invested heavily in improving its online relationship with consumers, who are becoming more demanding and informed. This generates new challenges for brands, which now aim to strengthen and reinforce its reputation on a new environment where Ford is ranked as a leader in online reputation above other automakers with 57.1 points over 100.
