OREANDA-NEWS. According to the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", the prices of foreign passenger cars, imported into Russia, raised most of all during the last year. The weighted average price of such new vehicles increased by 54% and by the end of 2015 it was almost 2.4 million rubles.

At the same time foreign cars assembled in Russia for the year increased in value only by 10%, the price grew in average up to 1 million rubles. The cheapest cars in the market are still domestic passenger cars, the average price of which slightly exceeded 500 thousand Rubles (+ 17%) at the end of last year.

As the director of the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", Sergey Tselikov, said, the devaluation of the Russian ruble affected the most acutely the price of imported foreign cars, which depends heavily on exchange rate. This category includes generally the premium cars, which have a relatively high average price.
