OREANDA-NEWS. KazMunaiGas Exploration Production JSC (Astana, hereinafter – the Company), whose shares are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), in an official letter informed KASE of the following:

"...that rating agency Standard and Poor's downgraded the long-term credit rating of the Company from "BB+" to "ВВ". Rating change outlook – "Negative".

Rating actions regarding the Company were taken as a result of the downgrading of the sovereign credit rating of the Republic of Kazakhstan on February 19, 2016".
