"Grow a Bridge" competitions where teams test their skills in designing, building and demonstrating the strength of freestanding bridges "grown" from 3D printing and additive manufacturing designed to withstand extreme payloads.

"Egg-cellent Landing" challenges showcasing unique devices designed to land delicate eggs safely to the ground from heights above 30 ft.

More than 100 high school students will be introduced to the world of STEM through various activities involving trebuchets, snap circuits, roller coasters and coding.

"Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day" is an international movement focused on raising awareness of opportunities for females to get involved and celebrate engineering.
Northrop Grumman engineers will share their stories with young women on how teamwork and creativity make amazing things possible.

Engineers will also join students in building devices that demonstrate the many ways circuitry is used in engineering. And potential energy vehicles will be built to compete for speed and distance traveled.
