An employee of the Belgorod branch of IDGC of Centre was awarded the title "Professional Engineer of Russia"
Alexander Bilaschuk made a significant contribution to the reduction of the failure rate and undersupply of electricity in the grid of the branch. He is in charge of analysis of the amount and reasons for outages on 10/04 kV lines, implementation of programs for technical re-equipment, reconstruction and repair and maintenance activities, as well as putting modern equipment into operation.
Yulia Moiseenko, a graduate student in the specialty "Power plants and power systems", was directly involved in the creation of the Centre for Energy Efficiency, aiming at promoting the theme of energy saving among the population of the region. With her efforts a statistical analysis of electric energy consumption for utility needs of substations was carried out and a detailed multifactorial structured valuation method was offered. She is currently engaged in the implementation of energy management systems and preparing it for certification for compliance with the international standard ISO 50001: 2011.
The All-Russian Contest "Engineer of the Year" has been held since 2000. Its purpose is to attract public attention to the engineering profession and raise its status. The founders, in particular, are the Russian Union of Scientific and Engineering Organizations, the International Union of Scientific and Engineering Associations, the Academy of Engineering Sciences named after A.M. Prokhorov, etc. The contest is held in two versions: "Engineering Art of the Young" (for young professionals under 30) and "Professional Engineers" (for participants who have work experience in engineering positions for at least five years). Employees of the branch "Belgorodenergo" regularly took part in this prestigious contest and repeatedly became winners.
