OREANDA-NEWS. According to the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", the average age of passenger cars in Russia is 12.5 years. The average age of foreign cars is much less - 9.9 years. At the same time, the age of the domestic passenger car (including brands of CIS) is 16 years in average.

Analysts say that among the foreign cars the youngest parc is belonged to Chinese brands (5 years). The average age of Korean cars - is 6.4 years. The third place is occupied by the American brands (8.3 years). European cars’ age is 10 years. The oldest among foreign cars – are the representatives of Japanese brands (average age – is 12 years).

Among the domestic brands the lowest average age is belonged to LADA (15,1 years), UAZ has older cars (15.6 years). The average age of the parc of the rest domestic brands is 21.1 years.
