OREANDA-NEWS. Kaspersky Lab North America announced today the promotion of Jon Whitlock to the position of Senior Vice President, Marketing. In this role, Jon will be responsible for overseeing all marketing activities in the region including driving programs to improve customer engagement and experience with the brand and products, as well as leading channel programs to support partner recruitment, enablement and marketing.

Prior to the promotion, Jon served as Vice President of B2B Marketing, Kaspersky Lab North America. In this position, Jon launched a number of projects that helped drive the entire B2B business:

  • Launched a unique onboarding program to educate partners on the security market and position them to increase sales within the first 90 days. The program generates three times more deal registrations from enrolled partners than those who are not enrolled. 
  • Rolled out a social media strategy to remain at the forefront of the security market, sharing vital news and information with prospects, customers and partners. Expanded upon this strategy to include a demand generation component, increasing social media lead capture by 65 percent monthly. 
  • Developed an event series, PowerTalks, increasing awareness and positioning Kaspersky Lab as a thought leader in the security market. The series has been instrumental in helping to grow Kaspersky Lab’s demand generation by over 32 percent.
