OREANDA-NEWS. February 17, 2016.  Zhang Wei, Vice President of Sinochem Group and General Manager of Sinochem Corporation, met with Li Nianping, Chinese Ambassador-elect to Colombia, and his entourage.

Both sides had an in-depth exchange of views on a wide range of issues of common concern, including how Sinochem Group's effort to make investment in Colombia had been faring, the situation in Columbia, and what opportunities the company will be able to seize to speed up its development in the country.

Vice President Zhang gave a warm welcome to Ambassador Li and his entourage and pointed out that as the Chinese business to invest most heavily in Colombia, Sinochem Group appreciated the support the Chinese Embassy in Colombia had given to it over the years. Ambassador Li said that it is one of the duties of the Chinese Embassy in Colombia to safeguard all Chinese businesses in the country so that they may carry out production operations in a safe manner and develop healthily, and that his visit this time would give him a clearer understanding of Sinochem Group's projects in Colombia. The embassy will continue, as always, to give full support to all efforts by Chinese businesses including Sinochem Group to make investment and do business in Colombia.
