OREANDA-NEWS. February 16, 2016. Fitch Ratings has withdrawn Russian Smolensk Region's Long-term foreign and local currency Issuer Default Ratings (IDRs) of 'B+' and National Long-term rating of 'A-(rus)', both with Stable Outlooks, and its Short-term foreign currency IDR of 'B'.

Smolensk Region's outstanding senior unsecured domestic bonds' ratings of 'B+' and 'A-(rus)' have also been withdrawn.

Fitch has chosen to withdraw the ratings of Smolensk region for commercial reasons.
