OREANDA-NEWS. Ulyanovsk plant resumes the production in February of SUV UAZ "Hunter", which, as previously planned, had to leave the conveyor at the end of the last year.

The resumption of production of UAZ "Hunter" is associated with a large number of inquiries from customers, who need a practical utilitarian SUV, informed the press service of UAZ. As it was noted, the UAZ "Hunter" from year to year shows a steady demand. Thus, according to the results of 2015 it was sold 3564 cars of this model.

Since February of 2016 UAZ "Hunter" will be equipped with additional options of safety systems: an indicator of the driver not wearing a seat belt, Isofix mounting on the two outer rear seats, as well as the 3-point safety belt. During 2016 Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant plans to introduce several new colors for UAZ "Hunter" and produce special versions of this model.

In the Russian market UAZ "Hunter" is available in three versions of "Classic", "Trophy" and the "winning series", produced the last year on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The initial price of the basic version UAZ "Hunter" is 589 thousand rubles, and in view of the recycling program, or "trade-in", as well as buying on credit it can reach 409 thousand rubles.
