OREANDA-NEWS. February 15, 2016. Cerner, a global leader in health care technology and a core member of the Leidos Partnership for Defense Health (LPDH), will demonstrate how the Department of Defense (DoD) plans to use Cerner’s Model Experience to transform care delivery for the DoD’s 9.4 million beneficiaries and 325,000 health care providers, in Booth 2032 at HIMSS16, Feb. 29 – March 4, at Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas.

LPDH representatives will join Cerner to discuss the off-the-shelf standardized software system and integrated solutions that will be used in the implementation. Highlights will include military-specific workflows, the first responder application, mass vaccinations and theatre synchronizations.

Henry Schein, the provider of practice management software for dentists (Dentrix Enterprise), will also demonstrate the functionality and integration of its system.

Demonstrations will highlight how Cerner solutions help improve data exchange, communication and care coordination as patients move through care continuum into long-term care, home care and hospice, rehabilitation, and behavioral health environments.

Ambulatory
Attendees will experience how Cerner helps independent and affiliated physician practices efficiently navigate venues of care and share data across the care continuum with integrated clinical and financial solutions and services.

Home
Because home is the venue of care where individuals typically spend the most time, Cerner will demonstrate solutions designed to facilitate engagements with a person’s care team remotely.

Hospital
Demonstrations will illustrate how Cerner’s tailored provider workflows connect physicians, patients, care teams and communities to create a comprehensive approach for care management and delivery while driving clinical, financial and operational integration.

Financial Management
