OREANDA-NEWS. Moscow plant “Renault Russia" in 2016 plans to launch a new model on the B0 platform, details of which were not disclosed. The agency "AUTOSTAT" was informed by the press service of Renault, by recalling that at the present time the company produces models Renault Duster and Fluence, and Nissan Terrano. In addition, the capacities of AVTOVAZ produced Renault Logan and Sandero of new generation of vehicles, while in December of 2015 the production of Logan of the previous generation at the plant in Moscow was completed.

As it was previously reported by "AUTOSTAT", by the results of 2015, Renault launched in the production sites in Russia 143,000 cars, which is less by 33% than a year ago. As it was noted in the press service of Renault, flexible production schedule at the company's plant in Moscow makes it possible to respond quickly to market changes.

At the end of 2015 Russian dealers of Renault sold 120411 cars, which is less by 38% than a year before. As part of the profit retention policy the indicator of market share remained almost stable at the level of 7.5%, noted in Renault. Best-selling of brand in Russia is still Duster crossover - it was chosen by 43923 Russian buyers (-42.3%). It is worth noting that the Duster becomes the leader among SUVs in the Russian market for the third year in a row. Second place in the model range of Renault is occupied by Logan sedan with 41311 of sold cars (-31.6%). The top-three of best-selling models of brand is still closed by a hatchback Sandero - 30221 of such cars (-18%) were sold in the last year.

In addition, in 2015, Renault has delivered to Kazakhstan and Belarus 16306 cars, produced in Russia, which is more by 28% compared to the previous year. As the agency "AUTOSTAT" was informed by the Renault’s press service, the share of both countries in supply is roughly equal. The company “Renault Russia" exported models Logan, Sandero and Duster of Russian production. Currently, the company is considering the expanding of the geography of export of Russian-made cars, but it is still early to talk about specific countries, said the press service of “Renault Russia”.
