OREANDA-NEWS. February 12, 2016. Holland America Line and partner Chateau Ste. Michelle winery are kicking off 2016 with a “Welcome Aboard” sweepstakes in North America that offers the chance to win a Caribbean cruise for two in an ocean-view stateroom. Run both in stored and online at welcomeaboardsweeps.com, the joint promotion features Holland America Line and Chateau Ste. Michelle’s line of Indian Wells cabernet sauvignon, chardonnay and merlot wines, although no purchase is necessary to enter to win.

“This latest collaboration with Chateau Ste. Michelle is the perfect pairing of two award-winning brands to create an exciting opportunity for consumers to enjoy fine wine and perhaps win a Holland America Line Caribbean cruise,” said Orlando Ashford, president of Holland America Line. “Wine enthusiasts and cruisers have a lot in common, so be on the lookout for the in-store displays and enter to win.”

The in-store displays feature Chateau Ste. Michelle bottles with point-of-sale visuals that include vivid ship and wine imagery, sweepstakes information and wine bottle neck hangers with a Warm Salmon Salad recipe by Holland America Line’s Master Chef Rudi Sodamin that’s perfectly paired with Indian Wells wines. Hopeful entrants can enter in store through March 31, 2016, while online entry forms will be accepted through Sept. 1, 2016. A grand-prize winner for the Caribbean cruise that can be taken in 2016 or 2017 will be selected in a random drawing mid-September.

Shoppers in the greater Seattle and Bellevue, Wash., markets, where Holland America Line and Chateau Ste. Michelle are headquartered, can find in-store displays in retail locations such as Safeway, QFC, Fred Meyer, Albertson’s and Haggen’s. Elsewhere in the United States and Canada, the in-store promotions can be found in a variety of big-box retailers as well as smaller outlets that carry Chateau Ste. Michelle’s Indian Wells brand wines.

The sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia and Canada (excluding Qu?bec) who are 21 years of age or older as of the date of entry.
