OREANDA-NEWS. February 11, 2016. FBK auditors note that despite the downturn and economic uncertainty, there remains a demand for audit services. FBK has landed new clients seeking services in the audit of their statements prepared under RAS, IFRS and other generally accepted auditing standards.

The FBK team will audit the statements of the two large car dealers, GEELY MOTORS, an exclusive distributor of Geely cars in Russia and Foton Motors Rus, an official distributor of FOTON light trucks.

Other new clients landed by FBK include subsidiaries of PCC SE Group, including logistics companies Novobalt Terminal and PCC Rail, a subsidiary of Voestalpine Group, Voestalpine B?hler Welding Russia, and SANHA RUS and DIAM.

According to Polina Sungurova, Associate Director of International Financial Reporting Department at FBK, international engagements we have pursued since 2014 as a member firm of the Grant Thornton International network significantly bulk up our client base.

She went on to say, "While we continue to provide and even extend the scope of our audit services to our well-established large clients, we note increased interest in our services among companies which could be classified as the SME sector".

Vladimir Bakaev, Senior Manager of RAS Audit Department at FBK, noted that the number of audit agreements with small- and medium-size companies has gradually increased during 2015, and in many cases we performed audits of their statements prepared under RAS as well as under IFRS.
