OREANDA-NEWS. Imports of passenger cars in Russia by the end of 2015 fell by 50.2% to 349.9 thousand cars. According to the Federal Customs Service (FCS) of Russia, during the reporting period in Russia it was imported cars for 6 billion 490.2 million dollars in Russia. At the same time from foreign countries it was imported 336.4 thousand cars for 6 billion 338 million dollars, from CIS countries - 13.5 thousand cars for 152.3 million dollars.

Imports of trucks in the last year fell by 63.3% to 22.5 thousand cars with a total cost of 878.9 million dollars. Among them, 20.1 thousand trucks for 483.9 million dollars were delivered from foreign countries, the rest 2.4 thousand cars for $ 395 million - from the CIS countries.

Exports of passenger cars in Russia fell by 23.6% in 2015 and it was 97.4 thousand units for a total sum of 1 billion 109.8 million dollars. Therewith, in the foreign countries it was sent 11.3 thousand cars for 249.6 million dollars, to CIS countries -. 86.1 thousand cars for 860.2 million dollars.

Exports of trucks fell by 9.1% - up to 20 thousand cars for 451.5 million dollars. In the foreign countries it was delivered 5.3 thousand trucks for 221.6 million dollars, to the CIS countries - 14.7 thousand vehicles for 230 million dollars.
