OREANDA-NEWS. AvtoVAZ sold in January in the Russian market 15577 cars, which is less by 11% compared to the previous year. With the fall of the Russian car market in the last month by 29.1%, the share of LADA has reached 19% against 15.1% of a year before, according to AEB data.

The best-seller of AvtoVAZ is still LADA Granta by the results of January, whose sales were 7377 cars (-4.7%). In the second place there is Lada Largus – in the last month it was sold 2,065 estate cars and vans of this family (+ 8.5%). In the third place a new sedan LADA Vesta stood with an indicator of 1643 of sold cars. LADA 4x4 SUVs found 1609 buyers, which is less by 45.4% than in January of 2015. LADA Priora car sales fell by 30.4% up to 1,386 units, LADA Kalina - by 54.9% up to 1140 cars.
